Directions
FROM BAY AREA:
Hwy 80 east to Hwy 50 east (towards South Lake Tahoe) heading towards Placerville...
FROM SACRAMENTO AIRPORT OR NORTHERN CALIFORNIA:
Hwy 5 south to Hwy 50 east (towards South Lake Tahoe and Placerville)...
...Go about 35 miles east on Hwy 50 and take the Missouri Flat Road exit and turn right.
At the "T" at the end of this road turn left onto Pleasant Valley Road, go through the town of Diamond Springs.
After about 6 miles of winding and climbing there is a split in the road, bear right at the stop. Take that road, Bucks Bar, and go another 6 miles to the 4 way stop (second stop sign) in Somerset. This road winds up, down, around and over the Consumnes River (one way bridge).
You will know you are in Somerset because of the Post Office, CoffeeShop, Gold Vine Grill http://www.goldvinegrill.com(great place for lunch), Real Estate Office and little Store.
Go straight across the intersection and you are on Grizzly Flat Road.
Follow this up and around (6 miles). After you pass Pert's Place on the left, go two more curves and look to your right, as the fence posts turn white you will see our sign "Dreamcatcher Ranch Equestrian Facility."
FROM SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA OR MONTEREY
Take Hwy 5 North to Hwy 4 East to Hwy 99 North, or (from Fresno) take Hwy 99 north all the way, to Stockton. A mile after Stockton take Hwy 88 northeast (30 miles) to Hwy 124 north through Ione (10 miles) to Hwy 16 east
Follow Hwy 16 (Jackson Hwy) east to Plymouth. In Plymouth follow directions to Mt Aukum and the Shenandoah Valley (a right turn after El Dorado Savings Bank). You will be on Hwy E16. Shortly after you turn right, the road splits, stay to the left through Shenandoah Valley.
Wind up the hill approximately 18 miles to the first stop sign. This is Somerset.
Turn right onto Grizzly Flat Road and follow for 6 miles. Look for our sign "Dreamcatcher Ranch Equestrian Facility."

Campers arrive on Sunday between 4-5 PM (There is no early drop off available), and the pick up between 1:00-2:00 on Saturday. There will be a parent orientation given when majority of parents arrive. Please do not arrive prior to 4 PM, as we are busy debriefing the counselors, setting up or picking up campers at the airport. If you arrive early there are two yummy places to eat lunch/appetizers at the four corner stop in Somerset. http://www.goldvinegrill.com and the Crossroads Cafe. Gates open at Dreamcatcher at 4 PM.
