Finnegan

24 year old Connemara/Appendix; chestnut gelding with full blaze...Alpha horse of the herd; 15.3h Excellent teacher for beginners. Very loving and responsive. He has been in the family for 19 years and understands the English language. Sensitive, easy to learn canter and basic jumping, yet not a boring horse. Mostly used on bareback and beginner lessons. No jumping.

12 year old Appendix; chestnut mare with star and snip;15.2h Full of life, can be ridden by beginner to advanced ridiers. Very athletic and loves to jump and go cross-country. She is a little difficult to catch, but worth the time just to ride her.

Joey

13 year old Quarter pony; bay gelding; 14.2h. Best "porse" on the ranch. He is not quite a horse size, but he likes to think so. Joey can be ridden by beginner to advanced riders. Fun and easy to ride, the favorite for call out jumping and cross-country. He needs a firm hand on the ground, as he likes to take nibbles when you are not paying attention...

15 year old Oldenburg; chestnut mare; mother of Dancer; 15.3 hands; Carol's pride show horse.
For intermediate and advanced ridiers with a quiet seat and hand. Very forward over jumps and needs a strong, well balanced experienced rider. The favorite for join-up. A real sweet girl with lots of patience.

16 H., coming 5 year old Appendix gelding, with great hopes to be a horse for the campers this summer. He is sweet, gentle and attentive to people. Has previous training, and ready to learn what we do at Dreamcatcher, jump! Picture coming when the snow stops here.... He is bay with a blaze and two white socks.

9 year old Welsh pony, 13.2h bay...what a cutie! Most talented show pony, ready to win the blues, so if you are looking to buy, let me know. He is quiet, uncomplicated to ride, and does courses very willingly. Experienced beginner through advanced small riders.

7 year old Paint/Canadian;flashy chestnut and white mare with white with blaze; 14h, out of Lacey and sired by Let's Talk Color. What a great ride, full of energy, feels like riding a horse not a pony. Loves to jump and go cross-country. Great for intermediate through advanced riders.

7 year old Oldenburg; steel gray mare with blaze; 16h and growing; Champion filly out of Kinetic and sired by Fuerst Gothard, AKA "The Titliest"; she is now back on the ranch after having been in the Seattle area with Karine, Carol's daughter for training. Wow, what a glide of a ride. Very springy and fun. Must be an advanced confident rider to enjoy her.

6 year old Paint/Canadian; black and white filly with tiny star on her head and a crescent moon on her bum; 14.2 h and growing; out of Lacey and sired by Let's Talk Color, full sister to Kari. She is so fun and loves to go on the jump course. Great for intermediate to advance riders.

5 year old Connemara/Appendix; bay gelding with star; out of Abbey (Appendix) and sired by gray Connemara stallion, Fairyhill Hawk . Going very nicely undersaddle and over fences. Easy to ride and willing to please. Katy prepared him for camp 2007 and he was a gem.

5 year old Belgian filly; PMU rescued; chestnut with flaxen mane and tail; used for join-up, vaulting basics and balanced seat riding. Honey loves attention, and is currently being ridden and worked with by Alyssa (working student). She is a challenge and prefers brushing over work.

Peaches 'n Cream
|
Born April 4 (04-04-04) and turning 4 years old this year. Peaches is quite a character. Since Dad was a paint and Mom (Sunshine) a palomino her color and markings a very unique and pretty. She is called a buckskin paint. Currently, undersaddle walk / trot, with hopes to be ready for the campers this summer. She is on the front page of the web site as a weanling. Too cute!

Dreamer
|
15 year old Miniature horse; gray gelding; 9 hands full of energy and fun, the kids have a ball jumping him in hand over low obstacles. Occasionally he gives small ones their first pony ride. Dreamer is our greeter as you drive up into the ranch, just look to the left and you will see his sweet face.
